Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is pure gold when it comes to oral hygiene. This mouthwash will kill all the bacteria in your mouth, and you will see results immediately. I couldn't believe the strength of this compared to other mouthwashes. It's tricky to get Hyrdrogen peroxide, this was the only brand I could find. Second step
Oral Probiotics
The active ingredient KBLIS in this probiotic is needed to rebalance the bacteria in your mouth. Make sure any probiotic you buy is both for the mouth and also has the active ingredient KBLIS, here's another link to the one I use https://amzn.to/3o1jDJS
You should see results using either one of the first two steps separately, but for maximum freshness, use both. Start with the mouthwash (twice daily), then afterwards use the pro biotic. The mouthwash will eliminate the bad bacteria, then step two will repopulate your mouth with the kind of bacteria needed to fight off the bad bacteria. It is a constant battle between the good bacteria and the bad bacteria which causes bad breath and gum disease.

If step one and two are not giving you the desired results then it's time for the final step. This stepped changed my life as I no longer suffer from bad breath. This third step costs nothing. Ready for it...
Step Three
The Holy Grail
I stumbled across this whilst trying to be healthier, I had no idea that within 24 of this step my bad breath would have disappeared. Nowhere have I seen this mentioned or talked about. Step three is eating a paleo diet. I have now came to the conclusion that the combination of wheat and diary between the gums causes a stink. I have eliminated foods groups in the past, but with no real change in my breath, this was the first time I had eliminated both diary and all forms of gluten at the same time. Don't let the word diet or paleo put you off from trying this. It's really not that difficult to eat this way, after a lot of research I now have a way of still eating the foods I loved, and the crazy thing is your palate will change after a couple of weeks and you'll no longer crave them highly processed foods. Paleo is basically foods in their natural form. So to summarise all three of these methods have brought me success. Step one and two I no longer need now I've eliminated the foods that were literally rotten between my gum line. I would suggest trying either or both of the top two before making the dietary change as it's the most difficult of the three, but if like me your bad breath takes over your life and has such a negative impact on your mental health then changing your diet is worth it. On top of being able to talk to people close up without worrying you have the bonus of being healthier too, I could write an essay on how bad processed foods but we'll save that for another blog.
